About Us

With membership of the branch standing at approximately 50, members interests and backgrounds provide a lively exchange of views and ideas on all aspects of fly fishing, fly tying and the world in general.

All aspects of the sport have devotees within our branch, whether
                             Small still waters : Large still waters : River Fishing : Sea Fishing
Or whether you prefer

                        Wild trout : Rainbow Trout : Sea Trout : Salmon :Grayling : Barbel :Bass


Fly tying is organised to cover all these areas, as are our fishing trips (excluding, given the expense and complex arrangements, salmon and fishing trips abroad)

There is a quarterly news letter, an annual tackle auction and a social programme including a Christmas dinner. Why not join us? You are welcome to attend meetings as a guest initially; annual membership currently costs £XX,
which includes membership of the national Fly Dressers Guild, bringing with it, an excellent well illustrated
quarterly glossy magazine "The Fly Tyer".
